Gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) from borage oil. GLA is an ω-6 fatty acid and is considered a semi-essential fatty acid. Borage oil has the highest GLA content (23% min.) of any available oil. It is also a significant source of the essential linoleic acid, also an ω-6 fatty acid.
